The Crusaders (10-0, 6-0 District 2) managed a 2-0 win against their rivals Monday, but it didn’t come easy. "They’ve given us some problems in the past," St. Mary’s coach Matt Faurot said. "We’ve kind of felt out of sync up here at times." St. Mary’s senior forward Duncan MacDiarmid scored an unassisted goal in the 17th minute after dribbling through two Eagle defenders and firing from 15 yards out. In the 31st minute, Austin Grant headed in a free kick taken by MacDiarmid to give the Crusaders their second goal. St. Mary’s held a 13-4 shots-on-goal advantage and received a shutout from goalkeeper Dylan Bourke.
