'Medicare 101' workshop coming to Central Point Wednesday Oct 12, 2016 at 9:19 AM Oct 12, 2016 at 9:19 AM The Futurity First Insurance Group and Central Point's Parks & Recreation Department will hold a free workshop on Medicare basics at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 155 S. Second St., the second floor of the Central Point Police Department. The hourlong workshop will focus on Medicare Parts A and B, along with Medicare Advantage Plan options and program supplements. Attendees also will learn about prescription drug plans, how to receive financial assistance with prescription drugs and how the program works with the VA. The free workshop is open to anyone.
