No. 18 SOU ups win streak to 11 Saturday Mar 25, 2017 at 2:00 AM The Southern Oregon University softball team got a walk-off win in Game 1 and stellar pitching in the nightcap of a doubleheader sweep against British Columbia Friday at U.S. Cellular Community Park. The 4-3 and 5-0 Cascade Conference victories ran the 18th-ranked Raiders' win streak to 11 games. In the opener, Taylor Martinez lined a double over third base and into the left-field corner in the bottom of the seventh inning, scoring Kristen Mauroschadt from first base. Victoria Mackey (3-0) pitched 2 2/3 innings of one-hit relief for the Raiders (23-4 overall, 10-1 CCC). Harlee Donovan's third home run of the season had given them a 2-0 lead in the first, but the Thunderbirds (1-13, 0-7) made it 3-3 on Lindsey Ogilvie's RBI single in the top of the fifth. In Game 2, freshman Karlee Coughlin (8-0) pitched a four-hitter, and Donovan hit a three-run triple in the sixth inning.
