Bridgman provides spark for Spartans Nov 27, 2010 12:00 AM A A Vance Bridgman scored two goals to guide the Southern Oregon Spartans hockey team to a 3-2 victory over Eugene on Friday at Lane EC Rink in Eugene. Bridgman capped the second period with a goal on a set up from Shane Harrington and Dane Irving at the 14-minute mark to put the Spartans (13-6 NORPAC) up 2-0. After Eugene cut the lead to 2-1 less than 30 seconds into the third period, Bridgman responded with another goal about six minutes later to help hold off the Generals (9-12 NORPAC). Harrington notched two assists in the contest and Mike Feagan put the Spartans on the board with a shorthanded goal about four minutes into the contest.
