One more jailed in sex abuse case Man arrested by police in Texas The second of three men accused of having sex with a 13-year-old in her mother's presence in Medford was arrested Thursday in Texas. Lamar Esquire McKinzie, 30, who has an Eagle Point address in court records, was arrested Thursday morning by police in McKinney, Texas, which is near Dallas. How McKinzie came in contact with police there wasn't known. Medford police had information that McKinzie had relatives in Texas, but they didn't know where. McKinzie is being held on $100,000 bail in the Collin County Jail pending extradition on charges of second-degree sodomy, second-degree rape and unlawful sexual penetration with a foreign object. Medford police have identified McKinzie as one of three men who had sex with a 13-year-old girl, allegedly with her mother's knowledge and encouragement. Although the mother has been arrested on rape and sodomy charges in the case, the Mail Tribune is withholding her name to protect the girl's identity. The allegations stem from an encounter last month at the woman's apartment in east Medford. The mother, who told police she'd smoked cocaine and was drunk that night, allegedly asked her daughter to put on a G-string and have oral sex and intercourse with a man in the home. The same woman had sued a babysitter for sexually abusing the girl and her younger sister four years earlier. McKinzie's arrest is the second in the case. On Wednesday, Medford police arrested Johnny Lee Carter, 39, on charges of rape, sexual abuse and unlawful sexual penetration with a foreign object. McKinzie, who also has used the names Lamar Carter, Lamar McCallister and Mally McKinzie, has been in trouble with police before. He's set to begin trial here Sept. 22 on a menacing charge stemming from an incident this past June. He's also scheduled to face trial Oct. 12 on charges of felony fourth-degree assault, fourth-degree assault, harassment, menacing and reckless endangerment involving an October 1998 incident with a woman.
