Emergency services, Aug. 24 Wednesday Aug 24, 2016 at 12:05 AM Felony arrests Drugs — Rosamber Lopez, 20, of the 1500 block of Meadows Lane, Medford. Medford police arrested Lopez Sunday on a felony charge of heroin possession and on warrants charging failure to appear in court on previous charges of failure to appear on previous charges of possession of methamphetamine, heroin and theft in the third degree. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail Sunday and released on her own recognizance. Weapons — Dwaine Richard Schiffer, 65, of the 1500 block of Stardust Way, Medford. Medford police arrested Schiffer Sunday on charges of 29 counts of unlawful use of a weapon, four counts of criminal mischief in the first degree, disorderly conduct in the second degree, endangering the public and possession of a concealed weapon. He was lodged in the jail Sunday on $7 million bail. Drugs — Joey Lee Hooser, 22, unknown address. Medford police arrested Hooser Monday on a felony charge methamphetamine possession and on a warrant charging failure to appear in court on a previous charge of methamphetamine possession. He was booked in the jail Monday and released because of overcrowding. Court Appearance — Ronnie Ray Williams, 23, of the 700 block of North River Road, Rogue River. On Monday, Williams made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of possession of heroin and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. He was booked in the jail Monday and released on his own recognizance. Court Appearance — Raymond Lee Wright-Foster, 20, of the 300 block of Stewart Avenue, Medford. On Monday, Wright-Foster made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of coercion, and on misdemeanor charges of assault in the fourth degree, harassment and strangulation. He was booked in the jail Monday and released on his own recognizance. Court Appearance — Jeffry Ray Weaver, 32, of the 2500 block of East Antelope Road, Eagle Point. On Monday, Weaver made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, and misdemeanor charges of driving while suspended and reckless driving. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance. Robbery — Joshua Scott McFadden, 30, of Rogue River. Rogue River police arrested McFadden Monday on a felony charge of third-degree robbery, and on misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree domestic violence assault and third-degree theft. He was booked in the jail Monday and released.  Burglary — Gina Marie Salinas, 57, of the 2400 block of Alma Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Salinas Monday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary and misdemeanor charges of first-degree trespassing and second-degree theft. She was booked in the Jackson County Jail Monday and released Monday on her own recognizance. Burglary — Justin Ray Dodd, 30, of the 700 block of East Nevada Street, Ashland. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Dodd Tuesday on additional felony charges of second-degree burglary and first-degree criminal mischief, and a misdemeanor charge of attempted first-degree theft. Medford police originally arrested Dodd June 21 on felony charges including unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, manufacturing heroin and aggravated first-degree theft. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $210,000 bail. Burglary — Raymond Leroy Laux Jr., 51, of the 200 block of Lincoln Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Laux Tuesday on additional felony charges of second-degree burglary and first-degree criminal mischief, and a misdemeanor charge of attempted first-degree theft. Medford police originally arrested Laux Saturday for violating his parole on a previous first-degree burglary conviction. He remained lodged in the jail Tuesday without bail. Forgery — Ariela Maricela Rivas, 20, of the 2500 block of Eaton Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Rivas Monday on felony charges of first-degree forgery and first-degree possession of a forged instrument. She was booked in the jail Tuesday and released on her own recognizance. Forgery — Tristan Charles Wood, 27, of Winfield, W.V. Phoenix police arrested Wood Tuesday on a felony charge of first-degree forgery, and on a warrant charging failure to appear in court on a previous charge of body armor possession. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released because of overcrowding. Drugs — Patricia Angelique Worley, 34, of the 1300 block of Upper Applegate Road, Applegate. Medford police arrested Worley Tuesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, and on a warrant charging failure to appear in court on a previous meth possession charge. She was booked in the jail Tuesday and released because of overcrowding. Drugs — Kimberly Ann Roberts, 29, no known address. Medford police arrested Roberts Tuesday on felony charges of methamphetamine and heroin possession, and on warrants charging failure to appear in court on previous charges of methamphetamine possession, identity theft and first-degree theft. She was booked in the jail Tuesday and released because of overcrowding. Contraband — Ricardo Daniel Batres-Escobar, 23, of the 2700 block of Falcon Street, White City. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Batres-Escobar Tuesday on a felony charge of supplying contraband, misdemeanor charges of carrying a concealed dangerous weapon and possessing a Schedule IV controlled substance, and on warrants charging failure to appear in court on previous charges of identity theft, fraudulent use of a credit card, , second- and third-degree theft, and methamphetamine possession. Assault — Kathy Beth Rumple, 33, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Rumple Tuesday on a felony charge of second-degree assault, and on misdemeanor charges of harassment and menacing. She was lodged in jail Tuesday on $17,500 bail. Drugs — Jeffrey Gordon Cole, 23, of the 2300 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Cole Tuesday on felony charges of methamphetamine and heroin possession, a misdemeanor charge of felon in possession of a weapon, and for violating his parole on a previous conviction for conspiracy to distribute heroin. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail. Burglary — Joshua Robert Johnson, 21, no known address. Ashland police arrested Johnson Tuesday on felony charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief and a misdemeanor charge of private indecency. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $60,000 bail. Vehicle Theft — Craig Sterling Knight, 35, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Knight Tuesday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, first-degree criminal mischief and methamphetamine possession, and on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $37,500 bail.   Crime reports Theft — Medford police took a report of theft at 1:32 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of Union Avenue. Items reported stolen included a necklace with stainless steel twisted cage around a pearl and a beach blanket. The loss was valued at $2,530. Theft — Medford police took a report of theft at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the 1100 block of Court Street. Items reported stolen included an Apple MacBook Pro laptop, turntable needs, Allen & Heath DJ headphones, a wireless microphone and a black leather bag. The loss was valued at $1,850.
