Registration and drills at 9 a.m. for 3rd-4th-graders and 10 a.m. for 5th-6th-graders. Cost $18 at registration, $22 for late registration. Call Darryl Summerfield at 664-1903. BLACK TORNADO CLINIC — Dec. 28, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., grades 4-8, at North Medford High. Cost $30 and includes T-shirt. First 80 to sign up receive a custom basketball. For info, call Tim Sam at 842-1241 or visit the North High activities office. YMCA — The Rogue Valley YMCA is taking registrations winter league for kids in grades 3-6. Registration ends Jan. 3. Cost is $30 for members and $45 for non-members. Call Wes Towne or Chuck Mettler at 772-6295 or sign up at the YMCA. YMCA ADULT — Rosters and dues for adult leagues are due Jan. 20 at Rogue Valley Family YMCA. Season runs Jan. 28-Feb. 27. Games are Tuesday and Thursday nights. Cost: $250 per team. Bowling LABOR OF LOVE BOWL-A-THON — Feb. 2 from 3-5 p.m. at Lava Lanes, and includes a silent auction. Proceeds benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. For more info or to donate an auction item, contact Larissa Owens, 858-9815. Ice Skating LEARN-TO-SKATE PROGRAM — Under way, runs for six weeks for ages 3 to adult at the RRRink. Days are Tuesdays from 5:15-6 p.m. and Saturday’s 9:15-10 a.m. Cost is $70 for ages 6 to adult and $50 for ages 3-5. Course includes free skate rental, free 15-minute practice session each week and free public skate session on the day of your class. Running LONGEST NIGHT MILE — Dec. 18 at the North Medford High School track. $5 for adults, $3 for high-school age or younger. BLUE ACES — Forming of the 12-under Blue Aces fast-pitch team begins with a parent-player meeting Jan. 8 at 5:30 p.m. in the Black Gym at McLoughlin Middle School. Call Duke Mondale at 665-2769. Wrestling YOUTH — Rogue Valley YMCA is taking registrations for first-sixth-graders interested in wrestling.
