Medford police arrested Carkhuff early Tuesday on charges of possession of methamphetamine and driving under the influence of drugs. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $9,000 bail. Sex crimes — Glen Carl Severson, 41, of the 2300 block of Jubilant Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Severson Tuesday on charges of attempted first-degree rape, second-degree unlawful sexual penetration and two counts each of first-degree sex abuse and first-degree sodomy. He was jailed on $6 million bail. Theft — Rosalind Joyce Dezell, 21, of the 5100 block of Rogue Valley Highway, Central Point. Dezell appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Tuesday on an indictment charging her with first- and second-degree theft. She was booked in jail and released. Crime reports Stolen vehicle — 3200 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police Tuesday took a report of the theft of a 1985 four-door Honda Civic. The theft was reported around 2:05 p.m. Theft — 3500 block of South Village Drive, Medford. Medford police Tuesday took a report of the theft from a vehicle of golf bags, 10 golf clubs and 21 Frisbee golf disks with a total estimated $1,800 value. The theft was reported around 8:47 a.m. Theft — 1500 block of Hondeleau Lane, Medford. Medford police Tuesday took a report of the theft from a vehicle of an amplifier and four speakers. The theft was reported around 8:39 a.m. Theft — 1300 block of Sequoia Circle, Medford. Medford police Tuesday took a report of the theft from a vehicle of a compact disc player and 60 CDs with a total $1,100 estimated value. The theft was reported around 8:05 a.m. Theft — 1100 Gardendale Avenue, Medford. Medford police Tuesday took a report of the theft from a vehicle of a compact disc player, amplifier, CB radio and radar detector with a total $910 value.
