Emergency services, May 1 May 01, 2021 08:00 AM A A Felony arrests Criminal Mischief — Christopher Scott Applegate, 48, of the 2200 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Applegate Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree criminal mischief and on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree disorderly conduct. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Thursday and released Friday on his own recognizance. Assault — Ben Gary Martin Jr., 38, of the 400 block of Fourth Avenue, Gold Hill. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Martin Friday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence, and on misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault menacing. He was held in the jail Friday on $20,000 bail. Weapon Use — Siguifredo Velasco-Ramirez, 37, of the 700 block of Nicholas Lee Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Velasco-Ramirez Friday on a felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon, and on misdemeanor counts of unlawfully possessing a firearm or ammunition and menacing constituting domestic violence. He was held in jail Friday on $17,500 bail.
