Labor Day picnic celebrates workers Aug 19, 2014 12:00 AM A A The Southern Oregon Central Labor Council invites all workers, including unemployed and retired people, to its Labor Day Picnic 2014, set for Monday, Sept. 1, at TouVelle State Park, 8425 Table Rock Road, Central Point. The event is free. The park charges a $5 parking fee. Events kick off at 11 a.m. with food, music and entertainment. Lunch will be served from noon to 1 p.m. and music will continue until 3 p.m. Musicians include Broadway Phil & The Shouters, Pete Herzog and Patrick Tovatt.
