For example, for the area in the middle of the northbound loop ramp that you would take to catch the interstate to Grants Pass from northbound Highway 62 — all that will remain, in addition to other areas. A lot of mature shrubs are being removed or trimmed to discourage transients from living in them, he said. As far as maintaining that which is destined for removal, the mowing is pretty minimal, Leaming said, and if they just let it go, it would look ugly.
