Michael Sachlan Linden Sunday Jan 28, 2018 at 2:00 AM October 17, 1946 - January 11, 2018 With deep sorrow we announce the passing of Michael Sachlan Linden, a friend to many in the Ashland community and around the World. Our hearts go out to all. Michael passed in his apartment, leaving behind a loving extended family. His genuine, loving spirit will continue to cast a brilliant light on a world in need of compassion and kindness without judgement. Michael thanks you for your commitment to this cause, in his memory. Michael was born in England. He resided there and in Holland, the United States, South Africa, and England again. In 1976, Michael returned to the USA, departing this mortal coil, days ago. Michael poured himself into every endeavor, distinguishing himself in computer programming, advertising copywriting, author agency, and network marketing. He created and edited two newsletters, “Hard Facts,” and “Sprout Letter.” His “Sprout Guide” and “Sprout Chart” helped many achieve better health. Michael created and published the “DeckWork Marketing” card deck, an educational tool for entrepreneurs. Michael received many awards through the years, including MLMIA’s “Best of the Best.” He was listed in “Who’s Who in the World 1988” and “Who’s Who in Hard Money Economics.” Michael authored “Your Enemy, the State,” and was a featured speaker at conferences. Michael sat on the Board of Directors of the Multi-Level Marketing Int’l Association from 2009-2013. Michael’s proudest accomplishment was co-creating the “Guatemala Project,” feeding needy children and their families superior nutrition every day. Michael’s mission statement gives us insight and inspiration: “My vision is to be the most magnificent expression of who I am; to create a network of friends empowered by the principle of hope, health, and freedom; to give more and more to more and more people in more and more ways; to be a source of Love for all.” Culturally aware and sensitive, an excellent public speaker, eternally optimistic, likeable, intelligent, and a great team player, Michael considered himself to be overly cautious, but as his “little brother,” I only saw bravery, tenacity, the willingness to jump into the breach and stand with those less fortunate. It has been an honor to know you, Michael. A favorite quote, which you used to close your correspondence, will ring on: “LOVE IS THE LAW! THE LAW IS FOR ALL!”
