Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Advertisement Email Story to a Friend April 22, 2006 Moyse, other locals shine Several local tennis competitors fared well Friday in the first round of the USTA/PNW Dual Level 5 Champs Junior Tournament at Rogue Valley Swim and Tennis Club. Ashland’s Kayla Moyse scored a 6-3, 6-0 victory over Zandri Strauss of Abbotsford, B.C., in the opening round of girls 18 singles. Also in girls, Medford’s Lacey Hall got past Salem’s Stephanie Spencer after Spencer withdrew due to injury. Medford’s Dasha Ivanova breezed by Portland’s Erin Larner, 6-3, 6- 1, in girls 12 singles. In boys 12 singles, Matthew Pronesti of Medford won his opening-round match, 6-1, 5-7, 10-6, over Lorne Bulling of Corvallis, while Medford’s Bruno Romero scored a 6-0, 6-1 triumph over Ryan Stack of Portland.
