Holiday season arrives on Mt. Ashland By Andy Atkinson Dec 23, 2019 07:38 PM A A 30 View all photos The Mt. Ashland Ski Area began its holiday operations Monday and will open daily through Jan. 6, 2020, thanks to a solid base of fresh snow and machined groomed runs. The slopes are open from 9 a.m. to 4p.m. — even on Christmas and New Year’s Day — except with twilight skiing is offered. The nonprofit ski area’s free bus service runs daily starting at 7 a.m. from the Ashland Hills Hotel & Suites, and the last shuttle returns at 5 p.m. During its non-holiday schedule. Mt. Ashland is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
