North Medford street blocked during arrest A team of local police officers and federal agents blocked off Morningside Street while arresting three illegal aliens on drug charges Friday. Police were cautioned that the men might be armed, and officers closed Morningside to traffic for about 30 minutes until the arrest scene was cleared. Medford police officers stopped the car carrying Jacinto Jacobo Moreno, Jose Nunez Rosas and Reuben Campos Ramos around 2:45 p.m. at the request of the Jackson County Narcotics Enforcement Team and the Drug Enforcement Administration. JACNET officers charged Jacobo Moreno, 28, a transient who is in the country illegally, with possession and delivery of amphetamine. Nunez Rosas, 29, of Parlier Calif., and Campos Ramos, 27, of Fresno, Calif., also were charged with possession and delivery of the controlled substance and being in the country illegally. The three men were lodged in the Jackson County jail without bail. DEA officials in Seattle could not be reached for comment on the case Friday.
