The 19th-ranked Raiders improved to 11-9 overall and extended their win streak to four by downing Bethany College 7-3 followed by an 11-1 romp over Patten College. Freshman Alicia Caudill (2-2) earned her second collegiate win in Game 1 by yielding only two earned runs and six hits while striking out three Bruins. Junior Tanisha Burch opened the scoring with an RBI pinch-hit single in the fifth inning, and senior first baseman Amy Williams, junior outfielder Leann Foster and freshman outfielder Allesha Spradling went a combined 7-for-11 to spearhead the Raider offense. Senior Miranda Gillaspie (5-4) won Game 2 by limiting the Lions to one run on three hits, and reserve infielder Jeanette Williams went 3-for-4 with three RBI in SOU's biggest run-scoring contest of the season. On Sunday, SOU rallied for a 5-2 victory against Notre Dame de Namur, then scored a 4-0 triumph against Dominican University.
