Emergency services, Aug. 18 Friday Aug 18, 2017 at 8:00 AM Felony arrests Drugs — Jeffrey Larry Miller, 45, of the 600 block of North Grape Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Miller Thursday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, a misdemeanor charge of carrying a concealed dangerous weapon, and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine, possessing heroin, possessing oxycodone and possessing hydrocodone, second- and third-degree theft. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $72,500 bail. Drugs — Mark Iwao Austin Pope, 25, of the 2400 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police arrested Pope Thursday on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and heroin, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing heroin, possessing methamphetamine and third-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance. Burglary — Daniel Jack Smith, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Smith Thursday on felony charges of second-degree burglary, possessing  heroin and possessing a Schedule I controlled substance, on misdemeanor charges of second- and third-degree theft, first- and second-degree trespassing and third-degree criminal mischief, and on a sanction for violating his probation on a previous heroin-possession charge. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail. Theft — Jolene Lynn Martin, 31, of the 300 block of West Jackson Street, Medford. On Thursday, Martin made her initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charges of first-degree theft and identity theft and on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree forgery. She was booked in the jail and released Thursday on her own recognizance. Assault — Robert Allen Jordan, 64, no known address. Medford police arrested Jordan Thursday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault, and on misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $15,000 bail. Robbery — Drew Alan Miller, 24, no known address. Ashland police arrested Miller Thursday on felony charges of third-degree robbery and fourth-degree assault, and on misdemeanor charges of harassment and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $20,000 bail. Crime reports Theft — First block of Jack Nicklaus Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in and theft at 8:57 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included a Garmin GPS device, a radar detector, a duffle bag containing fire safety equipment, a Bose portable speaker, sets of firefighting pants, computer accessories and flashlights. The loss and damage to the vehicle's rear passenger-side door was valued at $2,485. Burglary — 3400 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 10:07 a.m. Wednesday. Numerous types of construction tools were reported stolen. The loss was valued at $100,000. Vandalism — 1200 block of East McAndrews Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to an ATM and paneling around the ATM at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday. The damage was valued at $20,000. Vandalism — 2800 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism at 4:17 p.m. Wednesday. Items reported damaged included a gurney and IV stand, desk and chair. The damage was valued at $13,000. Burglary — 3900 block of Monte Vista Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 5:54 p.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included a snowboard, fishing poles, clothing, fishing reels, lures and tackle. The loss was valued at $1,760. Theft — 500 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 3:09 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included a gray Stanley toolbox and air compressor. The loss was valued at $1,500.
