Defending champion Sheldon upset by Lake Oswego Nov 27, 2010 12:00 AM A A EUGENE — Sheldon's run for another state football championship came to an abrupt end on Friday. Sixth-ranked Lake Oswego upended the reigning Class 6A champs in a romp, 45-14, in their quarterfinal game at Sheldon High School. The Lakers' Tyson Coleman scored five touchdowns, including three straight to give Lake Oswego (10-2) a 24-0 lead. The top-ranked Irish (11-1) received two touchdown passes from Dillon Miller in the second half. Selmar Hutchins scored the lone touchdown for the Indians (10-2) on a touchdown run to cut the Warriors' lead to 14-7.
