Resident extinguishes fire at their home By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Mar 26, 2022 01:28 PM A A Man transported for smoke inhalation A man in the 2800 block of Hammer Court put out a fire in his garage on Saturday morning, according to the Medford Fire Department. The fire was reported just after 9:20 a.m. MFD personnel and equipment arrived quickly and prepared for a structure fire response, but the resident used a fire extinguisher to put it out. The unidentified man living at the location was transported to a local hospital for possible smoke inhalation. Cause of this fire is under investigation by the department’s fire marshal.
