Imagine my surprise when I raced in and found three "reserved" blanket spaces where I had hoped to spread my own. Who do you have to know to get one of those "reserved" blanket spaces? — Bill D., Rogue River It’s not a question of who you know, Mr. Bill. Just write the Britt Festivals a check for $600, and you, too, can enjoy up-close seating without spending hours in line. Ed Foss, Britt’s development director, says the reserved blanket spaces are a membership perk enjoyed by supporters of the Britt Festivals who contribute at least $600. Foss says there are 17 reserved blanket spaces, each large enough for four adults. Five of the blue plastic "blankets" are set immediately in front of the stage; the other 12 are just behind the reserved seats. Foss says people who support the Britt at the $600 level may call to reserve a blanket for as many shows as they choose to attend. Send questions to "Since You Asked," Mail Tribune Newsroom, P.O.
