Emergency Services, April 5 Wednesday Apr 5, 2017 at 2:00 AM Felony arrests Rape — Jacob Gebhard Loper, 23, of the 400 block of W. Evans Creek Road, Rogue River. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Loper Monday on charges of first-degree rape, first-degree sexual penetration, and two counts of first-degree sexual abuse. He was lodged in Jackson County Jail on bail of $250,000. Theft — George Anthony Griffin, 52, of the 100 block of Galice Road, Merlin. Medford police Tuesday arrested Griffin on a charge of first-degree theft. He was jailed without bail. Drugs —  Naseef Elias Ashker, 25, of White City. Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday arrested Ashker on methamphetamine possession charge, probation violation, resisting arrest and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was jailed on $7,500 bail. Drugs — Cesar Daniel Martinez-Martinez, 35, no known address. Medford police Tuesday arrested Martinez-Martinez on charge of methamphetamine possession. He was jailed on $7,500 bail. Criminal Mistreatment — Darion Jeffrey Ward, 52, no known address. Medford police Tuesday arrested Ward on charges of first-degree criminal mistreatment, a parole violation, and contempt for violating a restraining order. He was jailed on $5,000 bail. Drugs — Stephen Michael Melton, 61, of the 500 block of Putnam St., Medford. Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday arrested Melton on charges of methamphetamine possession, third-degree theft, contempt for violating a restraining order, second-degree disorderly conduct, unlawful use of weapon, and menacing. He was jailed without bail. Drugs — Jamie Rene Garibay, 38, no known address. Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday arrested Garibay on charges of methamphetamine possession and failure to appear for six previous previous drug and theft charges. He was jailed on bail of $30,500.
