Medford police arrested Lawson early Friday on charges of first-degree aggravated theft, first-degree theft and possession of amphetamine. Lawson allegedly stole the lock mechanisms for Pepsi dispensers, fabricated keys and stole coins and cash from approximately 90 machines throughout Southern Oregon. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $20,000 bail. Assault — Wayne Allen Streight, 21, of the first block of Cascade Court, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Streight early Friday on two counts each of fourth-degree felony assault, harassment and criminal mischief. He was jailed on $20,000 bail. Drugs — William Jefferson Mathieson, 41, of the 100 block of North Second Street, Ashland. Sheriff’s deputies arrested Mathieson Friday on a charge of possession of amphetamine. There also was a warrant for his arrest charging him with contempt. He was jailed on $8,000 bail. Drugs — Bruno Silva Martinez Jr., 21, of the 2300 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. Officers with the Jackson County Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested Martinez Friday on charges of possession, delivery and manufacture of amphetamine. He was jailed on $25,000 bail. Burglary — Justin Ray Hamilton, 18, of the 500 block of Charlotte Anne Drive, Medford. Hamilton appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Friday on an indictment charging him with first-degree burglary and first-degree theft. He was booked in jail and released. Crime reports Theft — 2000 block of Crater Lake Highway, Medford. Medford police Thursday took a report of the theft of digital video discs with an estimated $836 value. Theft — First block of North Main Street, Ashland. Ashland police Friday took a report of the theft of a yellow Morin mountain bike with an estimated $800 value. Theft — 400 block of Normal Avenue, Ashland. Ashland police Friday took a report of the theft of a blue Stumpjumper mountain bike with an estimated $840 value.
