Medford police Sunday arrested Barber on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and violating the conditions of his parole on a previous drug conviction. He was lodged Sunday in the Jackson County Jail without bail. Drugs — Anthony Micheal Verastegui, 24, of the 400 block of West First Street, Phoenix. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Verastegui on charges of possession, manufacture and delivery of methamphetamine and heroin. He was lodged Monday in jail without a specified bail. Sex-offender registration — John Thomas Haynes, 58, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Haynes on two counts of failing to register as a sex offender and for violating his parole on a previous robbery conviction. He was lodged Monday in jail without bail. Drugs — Phillip Michael DeLaCruz, 36, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested DeLaCruz on a warrant charging him with possession of heroin. He was was lodged Monday in jail and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Christopher Wes Moore, 33, of the 700 block of Old Ferry Road, Shady Cove. Moore made his initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was booked Monday in jail and released. Sex-offender registration — Richard Torobio Rivera, Jr., 34, no known address. Rivera made his initial appearance Monday in circuit court on two counts of failing to register as a sex offender. He was booked Monday in jail and released. Assault — Brandon Tucker Hartley, 18, of the 600 block of Butte Falls Highway, Prospect. Hartley made his initial appearance Monday in circuit court on charges of second- and fourth-degree assault. He was booked Monday in jail and released. Drugs — Ashley Renee Strawn, 25, no known address. Medford police Sunday arrested Strawn on charges of possession of heroin and methamphetamine and on warrants for failing to appear on three other drug charges. She was lodged Sunday in jail and released on her own recognizance. Drugs — Stephen Alan Brewington, 62, of the 1100 block of North Rose Street, Phoenix. Brewington made his initial appearance Monday in circuit court on a charge of delivery of a controlled substance. He was booked Monday in jail and released.
