Police name woman killed in motorcycle crash Jul 05, 2017 12:00 AM A A A motorcyclist who died Monday evening in south Medford was identified Tuesday as 54-year-old Michelle Silva. Silva had been riding eastbound on Garfield Street near South Pacific Highway when she reportedly failed to follow the curve near Anton Drive and struck a tree about 7:30 p.m., according to Medford police. She died at the scene, and police believe speed was a factor based on at least one witness report. A call to Medford police seeking more info was not immediately returned.
