Adams appeared Tuesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with second-degree forgery and possession of amphetamines. She was booked into the Jackson County Jail then released on her own recognizance. Drugs — Brittany Kaylon Cook, 19, of the 300 block of Haven Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Tuesday arrested Cook on a charge of possession of amphetamines, as well as warrants for failure to appear in court. She was booked into jail then released to avoid overcrowding. Drugs — Christopher Jon Deason, 34, of the 4400 block of Griffin Creek Road, Medford. Deason appeared Tuesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with possession of amphetamines. He was booked into jail then released on his own recognizance. Crime reports Theft — 1500 block of Burbridge Drive, Rogue River. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Tuesday took a report of a white Honda Accord, license plate WSN 663, that was stolen from a driveway. Theft — 1100 block of West 11th St., Medford. A Medford police officer Tuesday took a report of a theft in which a green, 1997 Toyota Tacoma pickup valued at $20,000, was stolen. Fire calls Grass fire — A small fire Tuesday afternoon burned blackberry bushes and other vegetation along Bear Creek in Central Point. Advertisement The fire, in a wooded area north of Pine Street, was reported at about 2:30 p.m. Firefighters hiked in to the area and extinguished the blaze, which scorched a section of vegetation measuring about 40 feet in diameter, according to a spokesman with Jackson County Fire District No. 3. Miscellaneous Traffic accident — Phoenix police closed several intersections along Fourth Street during the noon hour Tuesday, to clear the lanes of a two-vehicle collision. Nobody was injured in the wreck, which occurred when a 2001 Dodge Ram pickup struck a Toyota 4-Runner, Phoenix police Officer Mike Ash said. After police and fire personnel arrived on the scene, electrical wiring in the 4-Runner caught fire, Ash said. A city fire crew extinguished the blaze, and traffic returned to normal by about 1 p.m. Both vehicles were towed, Ash said.
