Emergency services, Oct. 26 Wednesday Oct 26, 2016 at 12:05 AM Felony arrests Assault — George Thomas Evans, 26, of the 1100 block of North Fifth Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Evans Tuesday on additional felony charges of second-degree assault, first-degree burglary and second-degree robbery. Jackson County sheriff's deputies originally arrested Evans Monday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday without bail. Theft — Daniel Jack Smith, 25, of the 500 block of Franquette Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Smith Evans Monday on a felony warrant charging first-degree theft and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $20,000 bail. Assaulting an Officer — Melissa Jonelle Jones-Hanscom, 40, of the 800 block of Sherman Street, Medford. Ashland police and Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Jones-Hanscom Tuesday on felony charges of assaulting a police officer and aggravated harassment, and on a misdemeanor charge of fourth-degree assault. She was booked in the jail Tuesday and released. Court Appearance — Daniel Richard Peltcher, 31, of the 100 block of Jacoby Street, Gold Hill. On Tuesday, Peltcher made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released on his own recognizance. Court Appearance — Mark Davis, 63, of the 3300 block of Creek View Drive, Jacksonville. On Tuesday, Davis made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Kristopher David Lane, 37, no known address. Medford police arrested Lane Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and for violating his parole on a previous first-degree burglary conviction. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.   Crime reports Theft — 2300 block of Temple Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of two stolen dogs at 4:39 p.m. Monday. The dogs were described as a black poodle and a yellow poodle. The loss was valued at $1,000. Theft — 1100 block of Woodrow Lane, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen custom-built computer at 8:41 a.m. Monday. The loss was valued at $3,000. Theft — 3200 block of Annapolis Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 9:43 a.m. Monday. Items reported stolen included a 12-inch slide chop saw, a DeWalt chop saw and impact drill, a Mirabelle kitchen faucet, Makita radio with charger and other miscellaneous hand tools. The loss was valued at $6,072. Theft — 2000 block of Young Court, Medford. Medford police took a report of a burglary to a residence at at 7:52 a.m. Tuesday. A 42-inch TV and over-the-counter medication were reported stolen. The loss was valued at $1,000.
