Emergency services, Jan. 15 Sunday Jan 15, 2017 at 12:05 AM Felony arrests Identity Theft — Carmen Lynn Acuna, 42, of the 900 block of Broad Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Acuna Friday on an additional felony charge of identity theft, and on additional misdemeanor charges of fraudulent use of a credit card and second-degree theft. Medford police originally arrested Acuna Nov. 22 on felony charges including first- and second-degree robbery and first-degree burglary. She remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Saturday on $220,500 bail. Drugs — Jason Elliott Pelkey Jr., 41, no known address. Medford police arrested Pelkey Friday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and for violating his parole on a previous meth-possession conviction. He remained lodged in jail Saturday without bail. Drugs — Daniel Jack Smith, 25, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies and Medford police arrested Smith Saturday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine, first- and third-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday because of overcrowding. Burglary — Courtney Tamone Lamar Abney, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Abney Saturday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday because of overcrowding. Crime report Theft — 100 block of South Central Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 12:22 p.m. Saturday. Items reported stolen included a fourth-generation iPad, two leather bags, a leather organizer and personal documents. The loss and damage to the vehicle window was valued at $1,200.
