Beer event supports animal rescue By Local report Nov 09, 2015 12:00 AM A A Fans of beer and animals have reasons to raise their pint glasses 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, in Ashland. During that time, Standing Stone Brewing Co. will host its "Pints for Paws, Claws and Hooves" event at the restaurant, 101 Oak St., Ashland. Restaurant officials say they will donate $2 of every pint of beer purchased during that time to Sanctuary One, a nonprofit animal rescue and rehabilitation farm in the Applegate. Funds will go to support a variety of programs within the organization. Standing Stone's Pints with a Purpose program supports five nonprofits each year, raising money through beer sales and providing the selected organizations a chance to showcase their community work.
