We’re offering a KFJC T-Shirt to the artist with the best NEW
KFJC logo. We will be accepting entries until April 30, 1998.

As in years past, you, the KFJC listener have made the annual
fundraiser a success. And not just in a financial sense.
Each year, KFJC staff members sit at the phones waiting for your
call in which you donate generously to the operation of a radio station that
strives to be special and musically diverse. You give us money, but then
you add your comments about how important KFJC is to you. You tell us
about how difficult it would be to leave the Bay Area, because it would
mean not having access to your FINE 89. You verbally express your
praise for KFJC and how it sounds so much better than other college radio
stations in the area. In fact, you even tell us how you ENJOY the way
we conduct our fundraiser.
The money you donate makes it possible for us to meet our basic
operating costs and improve our technology, which, in turn helps the
sound you hear on your WAVE OF THE WEST. The comments you
donate move us, the staff, to continue our efforts to be that special,
musically diverse, atypical college radio station that you have come to
know as your SOURCE FOR SOUND, 89.7 FM, KFJC.
