In FY2020, we initiated this project and began exploring the responses of T cells from patients with MIS-C, using cells from age-matched subjects with acute SARS-CoV2 infection and age-matched healthy volunteers as comparators. Because of the exploratory nature of the project and extremely recent start date (August 2020), results of these investigations have not yet been prepared for publication. We are currently expanding our preliminary results and anticipate further collaborations and publications in FY2021. 

Additionally, we have collaborated with colleagues at NIDDK to explore Vitamin-D-regulated T helper 1 function in SARS-CoV2 patients. These results are available as a preprint on bioRxiv and have been submitted for peer review.
