Yuri Sato
Born and raised in Kanagawa prefecture, Japan. After graduating from college in Shanghai, China, Yuri returned to
Japan to work in jewelry design. In 2015, she came to New York, where she met a New York-based jewelry
designer Noriaki Niikura. Deeply impressed by Niikura's creative philosophy, Yuri, by applying jewelry-making
techniques, began making her signature openwork tableware pieces using antique cutleries. One-by-one, carefully
progressing and infusing it with her thoughts, she completes a one-of-a-kind item.
