Aircraft Cabin Measurement
Butt Line is the distance measured from side to side with the absolute center of the aisle being the 0.0Butt Line. For
example, 11" to the right of the center of the aisle is referred to as "R/H Butt Line 11".
If you measured 14" to the left of the center aisle, that would be "L/H Butt Line 14".
I also teach violin on Thursday's....

As far as moving them outboard, that outboard ledge is inconsequential as the divan backrests fall at that Butt
line (measurement inboard / outboard). We can however make the back rest cushions "slightly thinner" as well as the
bottom cushions to open up the space between the divans.
