Bush is a very bad man From the RIGHT side Mike Green I must admit that George Bush has turned out to be quite a disappointment to me. Over the years he has made quite a number of blunders, as would most anyone who had an entire media industry detailing every second of our lives. But his latest scandal is the last straw for this old Texas conservative. That would be me … not Bush. After traveling to Washington D.C. and standing in that muddy field in front of the Capitol on a cold, rainy day just to watch George W. Bush get sworn in as president, I would have never imagined that the man I saw place his hand on the bible and promise to protect the citizens of this great country would have ordered a category 4 hurricane to punish the poor people of New Orleans. But, surely that is what he did if there is any credibility to the liberal hype that has ravaged this country in the wake of hurricane Katrina. And if the head of the Democratic National Committee, Howard Dean says it is Bush’s fault that more than 100,000 of New Orleans’ poorest residents were left stranded to whatever fate befell them when the levees let in the lake and hundreds of people died in the resulting flood, there must be some truth to it. Right? After all, the media has been hounding Bush since he rigged the 2000 election , stacked the Supreme Court and forced Al Gore to speak a maximum of 5 words a minute in a monotone voice while doing an impression of a stone monument. And if you can’t trust the mainstream media, well, who can you trust? Today, I’ve come to realize what the liberal mainstream media and Hollywood have been trying to tell me for years … Bush is bad . I thought he was naughty when he handed billions of dollars to the liberals who had been doing a terrific job of sinking the public education system in this country while screaming they needed more money. So Bush gave them more money than any other president in history. I didn’t like that. Apparently neither did the liberals. They screamed they needed more money . Bush also found enough money in the treasury to open a whole new department of government … Homeland Security. Last time I checked, the constitution established the executive branch as head of the armed forces, which was supposed to be used for homeland security. Perhaps the title of World Police Agency has kept the U.S. military too busy to defend America. I didn’t like it. Apparently neither did the liberals, although they didn’t seem to mind the military policing places like Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Bosnia, and Yugoslavia during the 90s, as long as the Commander-in-Chief was enjoying a cigar or two. Of course, Bush is no stranger to sending the military off in search of adventure in foreign lands either. Iraq and Afghanistan seem to be the countries of choice. He calls it a War on Terror. It will only cost $200 billion this year. But, don’t worry; just like new computers, the cost will go down rapidly as we become more efficient at invasions. Coincidentally, I find myself against this façade that’s being pushed as a necessary war, and agreeing with the liberals yet again. But, the libs like to hand over money to the federal government … I don’t. Then they enjoy railing against the government because the money isn’t being spent as they want it to be. Go figure. Well, as if all of the aforementioned weren’t enough; in a scandal that would make his predecessor proud, Bush goes and gets himself in trouble with a whirling wench named Katrina. The media is having a field day. Under Clinton there was Monica. Under Bush … Katrina. Reading the accounts of what occurred and listening to television news media uncover the horrors, one can only surmise that Bush is a very, very bad man . Consider that more than 40 percent of New Orleans public schools students are illiterate. They are destined to continue the cycle of poverty that constitutes more than one-quarter of the city’s approximately 460,000 residents. This cycle of illiteracy has been ongoing for generations in a city where leadership positions throughout are dominated by liberals. It astounds me how Bush was able to infiltrate their compassionate congress and capsize the educational boat that was to hopefully … someday … perhaps … lift those poor people out of the flood of ignorance. Bad Bush. Consider that the New Orleans Police is well known throughout the city and nation as a highly corrupt organization. This has been going on for many decades . Of course, it is apparent that there must have been some connection to the Bush family. There are reports of police assisting the looters, with some even joining in . Meanwhile, Bush was allowing a few days to go by so that the police and looters could all get away with anarchist behavior. I have a sneaking suspicion that the Secret Service may have absconded with a few items from a WalMart gun shop too. Bad Bush. Consider that even while the former Democrat mayor of the city of New Orleans is still under investigation by the FBI, the current Democrat mayor decided to seal the fate of the destitute by ordering a mandatory evacuation of the entire city while taking absolutely no steps to ensure the evacuation of the city’s poorest, despite the city’s evacuation plan that authorizes public transportation to be used in just such an occasion. To add insult to hypocritical injury, in his most articulate appeal to the nation the New Orleans mayor sent up distress signals replete with expletives exclaiming how more than 10,000 poor folks were likely to die. Between the profanity and wild exaggerations of mayhem, I was beginning to think one of the floodwater victims had abducted the real mayor and was posing in his stead. But then again, that may have just been the language of common discourse down south. I should check with Bush on that. No doubt it was Bush who ordered the New Orleans mayor to park hundreds of buses in flood areas and leave them there unused while crying about the feds not providing him with hundreds of buses the next day. Meanwhile someone ordered the wealthy residents to get out of the city and used state law enforcement officials to keep the long lines of SUVs and luxury vehicles moving west along I-10. We all know who’s responsible. That “friggin” Bush. Consider that the entire state of Louisiana has been run by one corrupt institution after another, with few exceptions, dating back to the early 1900s. One governor won election while using a bumper sticker encouraging people to “vote for the crook.” No, it wasn’t Bush. It was yet another Democrat. But, you know Bush must have had something to do with it. Bad Bush. I, for one, am going to be glad to see Bush finally leave office at the end of his term. After all, nothing can top the carnage he created in New Orleans. And for all of the ridiculing he received regarding his inability to speak well when he campaigned for president, the man turned out to be a venerable genius, however mad one may claim him to be. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that Bush had set the tone in New Orleans long before he was born. Then as a child he was undermining the progress of the poor blacks while seeing to it that the educational system in New Orleans’ public schools remained the absolute worst. As a teen, he somehow infiltrated the police department, the school board, the city council, mayor’s office and the governorship as well. Bush was successful in degrading, exploiting, abusing, and criminalizing all of these institutions. And to his credit, Bush was able to stand on the Republican side of the political aisle while working in concert with a plethora of pathetic liberal Democrats in the education, law enforcement and city administration arenas to ensure that the poor blacks in New Orleans would remain standing with their heads barely above water … at least until Katrina, and the sabotaged levees that broke on cue after all of Bush’s friends had escaped the doomed metropolis. It was Katrina that washed away the generations of lies and exposed the fraud and racist leadership that now defines New Orleans and Louisiana’s highest offices. And this black conservative wants to be the first to stand in line to shake the hands of those liberals in Louisiana who have gone through great pains to get me to see the light. I now see how Bush should be blamed for the horrors of Katrina … certainly not the generations of liberals that controlled that region and exploited the poverty-stricken black residents for generations. And I’m beginning to see just how Bush might also be responsible for Hillary Clinton losing the presidential election in 2008 as well. Thank you libs for helping me see the light. Bad, bad Bush .
