Chester Gilliam, 74, allegedly had sexual contact with a female relative under the age of 10. He was arrested at his home and taken to Jackson County Jail. The investigation will continue and further charges may be considered. Ashland Police and Fire Monday 1:19 a.m. - Transient man, 35, arrested for trespassing and taken to Jackson County Jail. Without permission from the owner, the man was sleeping in the trailer of a semi-truck parked on the 1600 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Sunday 6:19 a.m. - Man unable to care for himself and taken to Medford detox. The man was found lying in the street on the 00 block of B Street. Saturday 11:29 p.m. - Ashland man, 20, cited for unnecessary noise, 1300 block of Evans Lane. Saturday 12:36 p.m. - Graffiti found on the east wall of the Elks building, 300 block of Will Dodge Way. Saturday 9:07 a.m. - Graffiti found on a storage shed in the ScienceWorks parking lot, Campus Way. Saturday 8:30 a.m. - Graffiti found on an electrical box, 400 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Saturday - Man unable to care for himself, 500 block of A Street. He was taken to Medford detox. Friday 11:45 p.m. - Ashland man, 19, cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and minor in possession of alcohol, Greensprings C residences hall, Southern Oregon University.
