Oregon State Parks 2025 Fee Increases Now In Effect News By Diane Megaw On Jan 2, 2025 Courtesy: Bureau of Land Management Oregon and Washington Fee increases approved in 2025 have come into effect at Oregon state parks. Visitors will pay more for day-use parking and overnight camping, but generous discounts still apply.   Camping Fees At Oregon State Parks 2025 Oregon State Parks reservation rates have been increased. Camping rates range between $17 and $38 per night, depending on the season and site, and have increased as follows: Tent sites (including horse tent sites and group sites) and primitive sites (including overflow, fly-in, and walk-in sites): $3 increase Cabins and yurts: $5 increase RV sites: $4 increase Miscellaneous sites (including tipis, meeting halls, and other facilities): $2 increase   The out-of-state visitor surcharge, which currently only applies to RV sites, will be extended to July 1, when visitors will pay a 25% surcharge on all camping sites.   Parking Fees At Oregon State Parks While 230 of the state park sites do not currently have day-use fees, a recent rule change allows the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department to change which parks may charge for parking. At the 25 parks that charge parking fees, day-use parking fees have increased from $5 to $10 per vehicle. Annual parking permits, which are valid for all state park sites, have not increased. They are still $30 for one year and $50 for two years.   Discounted Rates At Oregon State Parks Ways to get free or discounted entry to Oregon state parks: Special access passes are available for U.S. veterans, active military members, and Oregon foster parents and guardians. Parking fees are waived on New Year’s Day, State Parks Day on the first Saturday in June (when there is also free camping), and Green Friday (the day after Thanksgiving).
