The man asked two people for money, began swearing at them, encouraged his dog to bite them and chased the pair as they walked away. The man was taken to Jackson County Jail; the dog was taken to the Jackson County Animal Shelter. Sunday 2:30 a.m. - Purse with $7 cash stolen from the Vinyl Club, 100 block of Will Dodge Way. Sunday 2 a.m. - Purse with $40 cash, a cell phone, a checkbook and miscellaneous ID stolen from the Vinyl Club, 100 block of Will Dodge Way. Sunday 12:17 a.m. - Medford man, 26, cited for DUII-alcohol, North Main Street at Maple Street. Saturday 11:41 p.m. - Juvenile taken to Rogue Valley Medical Center after suffering adverse reaction or possible overdose from marijuana use, Cedar Hall, Southern Oregon University. Saturday 1:55 p.m. - Man, 44, arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and harassment, East Main Street at Gresham Street. Saturday 9:12 a.m. - Graffiti causing $200 damage found at skate park, Water Street at Hersey Street. Saturday 8:59 a.m. - Graffiti causing $100 damage found on electrical box, Helman Street at Hersey Street. Friday 11 p.m. - Transient, 22, driving a Ford Explorer in the gravel pit above Lithia Park arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle. The vehicle had been reported stolen out of Monterey, Calif. Friday 2:08 p.m. - Ashland man, 22, stole food and beverage items valued at $6.64 from Market of Choice, 1400 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Friday 1:45 p.m. - Harassment report involving two elderly residents at Mountain View Assisted Living, 600 block of North Main Street. Friday 12:35 p.m. - Two people trespassed in the City of Ashland building around 10 p.m. Wednesday, 00 block of Winburn Way. There was no evidence of criminal activity. Friday 8:51 a.m. - Three video surveillance cameras valued at $1,800 stolen from the roof of the Ashland Street Shopping Center, 1600 block of Ashland Street. The burglar also caused $1,000 damage to electrical systems on the roof. The incident occurred at 3:51 a.m. Friday. Friday - Fly rod valued at $600 and family photos and albums valued at $100 stolen, 00 block of Garfield Street. The theft occurred between 4:10 p.m. Tuesday and 2 a.m. Friday.
