Police reports, Oct. 26-27 Friday Oct 27, 2017 at 5:14 PM Oct 27, 2017 at 5:14 PM Local report Thursday, 12:30 a.m. — Police found property in the 400 block of East Main Street. Thursday, 10:45 a.m. — Police investigated a report of a theft from a motor vehicle in the 1600 block of Ashland Street. The phone was later recovered. Thursday, 10:49 a.m. — Police investigated a report of a residential burglary in the 500 block of Fordyce Street. Thursday, 1:09 p.m. — Police arrested a man on a warrant in the 1600 block of Ashland Street. Thursday, 6:06 p.m. — Police investigated a report of child abuse in the 900 block of Terra Avenue that they determined was unsubstantiated. Thursday, 6:43 p.m. — Police arrested a man on a warrant and possession of methamphetamine in the 400 block of Normal Avenue. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail.
