DINO-LIGHT Set To Delight Klamath Falls For A Day At Ross Ragland Theatre Revels By Diane Megaw On Mar 10, 2024 Last updated Mar 10, 2024 KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — Internationally recognized Lightwire Theatre Lightwire Theatre- a semi-finalist on season 7 of “ America’s Got Talent, ” is bringing their futuristic meets prehistoric production, DINO-LIGHT, to the Ross Ragland Theatre in Klamath Falls for one day only on April 4. Ian Carney, Artistic Director for Lightwire Theater, confirmed that they use a phosphorus-based technology called electroluminescent wire, called EL wire or L wire for short. They create a copper wire with phosphorus sprayed on and coated with gel PVC coating, producing a myriad of colors. Household items are used to create durable and pliable sculptures, designed to withstand the movement of their dancers. What Is DINO-LIGHT About A glow-in-the-dark story of dinosaurs in an adventure of self-discovery, the show blends dance and puppetry, with some pretty cool light displays. Loved by audiences around the globe, the magic of dinosaurs, using the wonder of science, sets out on a journey to discover the meaning of love. Bringing a friendly dinosaur to life with his magical powers, a famous scientist discovers that his new prehistoric pal is wandering away from home. The journey unfolds with a wonder world of creatures that light up the darkness to illuminate the way to love. The visually stunning glow-in-the-dark adventure, been praised for its cutting-edge technology, is the first feature-length theatrical production created and performed by Lightwire Theater.
