arrived via Pan American Airways at about 6:35 p.m., West.Coast
Time, August l8, 1964. They were brought by limousine to an Lawaiting crowd estimated by the San Mateo Sheriff&#39;s Office as over7F
5,000. The crowd consisted mostly of teenagers and younger, some ,3;accompanied by mothers. Although conduct was generally orderly, ifseveral persons were injured, and arrests of at least eight  *~*%*
persons were made by the Sheriff&#39;s Office for disorderly person, &#39;
disturbing the peace, and molesting.
San Francisco has advised that no racial or subversive
overtones were observed inihe crowd.

We will continue to be alert for elements which may
endeavor to capitalize on the emotional pitch of crowds of

nfoimed on the aiternoon of September 17, 1964, that no sh
additional information has been received specifically ,
indicating any possible violence involving racial aspects ¢
in connection with the appearance of the Beatles, a quartet 
singing group on tour from England, at Municipal Stadium __
the night of September 17, 1964. said that a few g Mapparently baseless and unverifiable rumors had come to ~:¢
his attention suggesting that one or two Muslims or ex-Muslims, unidentified, had been overheard to say "some ;;trouble might occur" at the stadium in connection with the tiappearance of the Beatles. _said that his inquiryhad indicated that these rumors were disconnected, were _ vi?

singing group on tour here from England, are to perform at
9:25PM uhder contract to Charles O. Finlev owner of theKansas City Athletics  baseball club!. ysaid all
leave for Kansas City, Missouri, police o ficers has been
cancelled to enable assignment of 350 officers in and about
the stadium and about 100 officers elsewhere to cover the
Municipal Airport, Hotel Muehlebach, and other places,
respectively, arrival, sojourn and travel points and areas
of the Beatles in Kansas City, Missouri.

the ball park  Municipal Stadium! is located in a Negro
residential neighborhood,the possibility of Negro involve-
