The 26-24, 16-25, 21-25, 25-12, 15-11 win boosted the Black Tornado to 4-2 in the SOC and 4-4 overall. Eagle Point slipped to 3-3 in conference play. "The beginning and end games were the most critical," said North head coach Ron Beick. "We had a strong effort, team-wise." After taking the first game, the Tornado dug itself 9-0 and 10-0 holes in Games 2 and 3, respectively. North bounced back in the fourth game with junior Jenna Siebenlist’s serving and three kills from Stacey Casebier. Casebier recorded 12 kills in all, while Siebenlist had 22 digs. Allanah Munson contributed 36 assists. Eagle Point was led by Ashley Curtis’ 18 kills, while Nicole Lucas and Amanda Grieve combined for 12 spikes. The Eagles served at a 92-percent clip. Eagle Point was missing starting setter Aubrey Harrington, who is sidelined indefinitely after an emergency appendectomy that was performed on Saturday. The Eagles play host to Ashland on Tuesday, while North meets Grants Pass.
