Emergency services, Oct. 22 By Mail Tribune staff Oct 22, 2022 12:00 AM A A Felony arrests Strangulation — Michael Elliot Allen, 50, of the 7300 block of Adams Road, Talent. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Allen Thursday on a charge of felony strangulation constituting domestic violence. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Thursday and no longer was an inmate as of Friday. Vehicle theft — Andrew James Ceremony, 28, no known address. Ceremony made a Thursday appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on new charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and second-degree theft. Central Point police originally arrested Ceremony Oct. 9 on a contempt of court charge for violating a no-contact order, and the District Attorney’s office has since charged him with first-degree criminal mischief, third-degree robbery, second-degree disorderly conduct, hit-and-run causing property damage, reckless diving and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was held in jail Friday on $27,500 bail. Sex offender — Joshua H. B. Collins, 43, of the 2500 Thorn Oak Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Collins Thursday on a charge of felony failing to report as a sex offender. He was booked in jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance. Elude — Alfonso Gregory Devette, 49, of the 100 block of Buchanan Avenue, Eagle Point. Eagle Point police arrested Devette Thursday on charges of attempting to elude police by vehicle and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was booked in jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance. Drugs — Nakoda Ryan Possinger, 29, of the 700 block of Hazel Street, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Possinger Thursday on warrants charging him with manufacturing, delivering and felony possessing a Schedule II controlled substance. He was booked in jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance. Theft — Renee Roman, 52, of the 2600 block of Indian Creek Road, Shady Cove. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Roman Thursday on a charge of first-degree theft. She was booked in jail and released Thursday on her own recognizance. Rape — Ethan Williams, 23, of the 600 block of Rogue River Highway, Gold Hill. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Williams Thursday on charges of third-degree rape, second-degree sexual abuse, first-degree online sexual corruption of a child and luring a minor. He was held in jail Friday. Robbery — Tristan Charles Wood, 34, no known address. Medford police arrested Wood Thursday on charges of second-degree robbery and second-degree theft. He was held in jail Friday on $50,000 bail.
