Spartans skate past Missoula Feb 07, 2015 12:00 AM A A MISSOULA, Mont. — The Southern Oregon Spartans spotted the Missoula Maulers one goal then regrouped to post a 4-1 WSHL hockey victory Friday at the Glacier Ice Rink. Johan Lovestrom and Mackenzie Wood each had one goal and one assist to pace the Spartans. After Lovestrom tied the game 1-all late in the opening period, Doug Gutierrez scored the eventual game-winner for the Spartans at the 7:11 mark of the second stanza. Wood and Drew Carriere added third-period goals. The teams will play the second in a three-game series at 6:30 p.m. today. Southern Oregon;1;1;2;—;4 Missoula;1;0;0;—;1
