Past leading riders Joe Crispin and Twyla Beckner along with this year’s top jockey Duane D’Amico won eight of the 10-races on the Memorial Day card. Defending leading jockey Beckner won three races for the second day in a row and Crispin also got to the winner’s circle three times. Both Beckner and Crispin recorded seven victories over the three-day weekend. D’Amico has 21 wins through the first seven of the 19-day season. Crispin is second with 15. Beckner, who got injured on the opening day and had to sit out three racing days, has six wins. Advertisement Beckner won the $3,500 Josphine County Stakes featured race aboard the 6-1 shot Harvey’s Delight, who returned $12.80 to win. Harvey’s Delight paid the top win price of the day with her victory in the 5½ -furlong race for 3-year-old fillies. A Memorial Day crowd of 1,741 waggered $57,205.
