Me too, so frustrating. To make sure we’re prepared this time around, I’ve put together a list to mark your calendar, accompanied by a few notes. Now you can be ready for all the special wine days. January 10: Champagne and French Fries Day - Brand new this year. We missed it this January, but next year we’ll be ready. February 1: National Furmint Day - Hungary. Lip-smacking. 14: Wine Lover’s Day - Red, white and salted chocolate. Stone River’s Charbono. 16: Mardi Gras / Fat Tuesday - Try a Louisiana wine like Ole’ New Orleans Wines. First black-owned winery in NOLA.
