Gold Hill police late Sunday arrested Kidd on a charge of felony fourth-degree assault. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where she was being held Monday in lieu of $5,000 bail. Sex offender — Shane Stephen Whitson, 22, of the 1800 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Medford police on Sunday arrested Whitson on charges of failing to register as a sex offender and possession of amphetamines. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where was being held Monday on a no-bail hold for violating the conditions of his probation on a previous conviction of contributing to the sexual delinquency of another person. Drugs — Janet Sue Myers, 49, of the 100 block of Schoolhouse Road, Talent. Central Point police on Monday arrested Myers on charges of possession of amphetamines, driving under the influence of intoxicants and possession of drug contraband. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, then released Monday afternoon on her own recognizance. Drugs — Hugo Ernesto Gonzalez, 26, of the 800 block of Krissy Dee Street, Medford. Gonzalez made his initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on a charge of delivery and possession of amphetamines. He was processed Monday at the Jackson County Jail, then released on his own recognizance. Burglary — David Alan Thate-Hansen, 20, of the 3700 block of Rogue River Highway, Gold Hill. Medford police on Monday arrested Thate-Hansen on charges of second-degree burglary, first-degree theft, failing to appear on three misdemeanors and violating the conditions of his probation on a former fourth-degree assault conviction. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday without bail. Indecency — Shane William Loveland, 42, of the 3600 block of Avenue G, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Monday arrested Loveland on a charge of public indecency. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, then was released after posting bail. Theft — Kelsey Jerel Edgar, 25, of the 200 block of Avery Street, Ashland. Ashland police Monday arrested Edgar on charges of identity theft and fraudulent use of a credit card. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $25,000 bail. Crime reports Burglary — First block of South Stage Road, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies took a report Monday of a burglary in which $3,000 worth of miscellaneous items were stolen.
