McBee top wrestler in tournament CARSON CITY, Nev. � Eagle Point 145-pounder Chet McBee posted a 4-0 record, with two falls, and was named the outstanding wrestler at the Capitol City Duals Saturday. The Eagles went 5-0 in duals and defeated Douglas High of Carson City, Nev., 54-15 in the championship match. In other duals, Eagle Point defeated Nevada teams Galena 45-3, Carson City 54-10, Reno 48-3 and Hug 72-6. "Overall, we wrestled pretty well for the first time out," Eagle Point coach Brad McBee said. "All the teams had some good individuals and we accomplished what we wanted to." Justin Sheile (103) was the only Eagle wrestler to go 5-0 in the event. Other Eagle Point wrestlers with 4-0 records were Joe Lewis (112), Andrew Larson (119), Brian Hays (130), James Mannenbach (171) and Blake Cam (275). Other undefeated Eagles were Jacob Leonardo (130) 3-0, Tylson Nelson (160) 2-0 and Kyle Quinlan (215) 3-0. Also for Eagle Point, Justin Winner (125) went 3-2, Morgan Edenstrom (135) was 3-1, John Gall (140) was 0-2, Christian Mannenbach (152) was 1-1 and Lucas Schauffler (160) was 1-2. Rose (119), Ken Cook (125), Chris Nevotti (135), Nathan Combe (189), Curt Strickland (215) and Donald Lavenbarg won their weight classes, while Flynn Madlin (140) and heavyweight Tim Cook were second.
