Salmon Hike: Klamath Siskiyou Wildlands ecologist Rich Nawa will lead a one-mile hike along the Bear Creek to observe spawning chinook salmon from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 18 and 19, at Lynn Newbry Park in Talent. Rogue Valley Harmonizers: The a cappella ensemble will present "Cruising Down the River," a musical journey on a river-gambling boat in the 1890s, at 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at Central Medford High School, 815 S.
