Has Danielle Craig left KDRV Channel 12? I haven't seen her on the local news for at least two weeks. — J.D., Medford She has moved on from Channel 12, J.D. After more than seven years, Craig decided not to renew her contract, per an email she wrote to us. Her last day was Dec. 22. "The hardest part of this decision was to leave the viewers," Craig said. "I will always be so thankful for their support and trust in me." With that said, Craig is still local, and you can still tune in. She currently helms a new podcast, which she calls "Happiness in Progress." You can find it on Apple Podcasts, Google Play and at her website, www.DanielleCraig.com. There are 15 episodes so far. "An Emmy-award winning journalist hosts 'Happiness in Progress,' " the Apple Podcasts description says. "You'll hear from some incredibly inspiring people and get motivation each episode to better your life and find your own happiness." Craig said she learned much during her career in news about the pain and struggles people experience, and she wanted to produce a podcast that provides tools for a happier life "regardless of the circumstances." "I've already interviewed some incredibly inspiring people on the podcast, including one of the parents who lost a child in the Sandy Hook shooting, and a local childhood cancer survivor who started a nonprofit called 'Gamerosity,' " she said.
