Felony arrests Drugs — Sheena Ann Cortez, 33, of the 1500 block of Beall Lane, Central Point. Medford police and Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Cortez Wednesday on additional felony counts of delivering and possessing methamphetamine and supplying contraband. Medford police originally arrested Cortez Monday on misdemeanor charges of hit-and-run, recklessly endangering another person, and for violating her parole on a prior heroin-delivery conviction. She remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Thursday without bail. Coercion — Andrew Lee Pierce, 37, no known address. Medford police arrested Pierce Thursday on a felony warrant charging him with coercion, and on misdemeanor warrants charging him with fourth-degree assault, strangulation, harassment and menacing. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $100,000 bail. Drugs — Victor Chavez Capetillo, 38, of the first block of Rose Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Capetillo Thursday on a felony warrant charging him with possessing heroin, a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of contempt of court and for violating his parole on a prior methamphetamine possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail. Sex Offender — Adam Bruce Chapman, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Chapman Thursday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior methamphetamine possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail. Drugs — Matthew Michael Andress, 33, of the 2600 block of Cliffrose Court, Medford. On Thursday, Andress made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony counts of possessing heroin and methamphetamine, and on a misdemeanor count of possessing a Schedule III controlled substance. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance. Theft — Jason Edward Butterfield, 42, no known address. On Thursday, Butterfield made his initial court appearance on two felony counts of first-degree theft and two misdemeanor counts of unlawfully transferring a firearm. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance. Theft — Michelle K. Iammarino, 51, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Iammarino Thursday on a felony warrant charging her with first-degree theft. She was lodged in jail Thursday without bail. Identity Theft — Louis Fredrick Mahar II, 42, no known address. Medford police arrested Mahar Thursday on five felony counts of identity theft and two felony counts of first-degree forgery. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $52,500 bail. Crime reports Theft — 300 block of Portland Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 7:59 p.m. Wednesday. A spare vehicle key and makeup were reported stolen. The loss was valued at $190. Theft — 800 block of Oak Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of stolen firearms at 6:38 a.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $800.
