Dutch Bros. makes fastest-growing list

Grants Pass-based Dutch Bros. is listed as the 74th-fastest-growing private company in Oregon. Portland Business Journal compiled its Top 100 list based on year-over-year annual revenue in recent years. The drive-thru coffee seller was founded in 1992 by brothers Dane Boersma and Travis Boersma. Dane Boersma died in 1992 and his brother continues to lead the company. Dutch Bros. reported a 79-percent jump in revenue as it reached into more than 250 locations throughout the west. The list included only companies choosing to participate in the survey, said a spokesman for Portland Business Journal. As a result, Dutch Bros. was the lone entry south of Roseburg. Cinder Staffing of Beaverton, operated by Ray Hoppes, topped the list with revenue growth of 1,568 percent.
